Reader's Guide

Shadowhunters manage their Identity bar through combat skills and specific actions. Activating Demonize transforms you into a demon form with access to powerful melee attacks that deal high damage but consume your remaining time in the state. During this phase, your normal skills are replaced by demon-specific abilities like Demon Slash and Hell Thrust. You must balance dealing damage quickly against saving enough energy to revert safely before the timer expires or you run out of resources. Optimal rotation involves building Identity gauge during normal combat, then activating Demonize when enemies are grouped for burst damage. Always monitor your cooldowns to ensure you can return to human form before being overwhelmed by enemy counterattacks.
